NEWSLETTER – June 22nd 2026

· The school will close on Friday June 26th at 12 for the summer holidays. It will reopen on Wednesday August 26th.

· We will have a uniform swap/exchange in the school hall at 1.30pm on Wednesday 24th. Children can wear their own clothes this week to allow parents the opportunity to have uniforms clean if they want to exchange them

· Reminder that new school uniforms are available to purchase from Kidstuff Courtyard Shopping Centre, Newbridge. Or from Keadeen Knitwear, Baltinglass. If children are wearing shorts with their uniform they should be grey in classes 1st-6th and navy on PE days and navy in Junior and Senior Infants.

· Please remember that the school and its car parks and grounds are strictly no smoking/vaping areas.

· We would ask parents to return all school books that may have been left at home or in school bags.

· Congratulations to 6th class who graduated last week and spent two days in Delphi on their school tour.

· Children that have had music lessons with music generation along with all class vocal groups will take part in a concert for the rest of the children this Tuesday.

· Hard luck to our Senior Camogie team that narrowly lost out in the Kildare final last week. It is a massive achievement as we haven’t had a camogie team for a number of years. We look forward to seeing the girls in many more finals. Many thanks to Sinéad Keogh and Lindsey Quinlan for looking after the team.

· We are sad to announce the retirement of our SNA Bonnie Rigley and our cleaner Winnie Nolan after many years of work in Scoil Nioclais Naofa. We wish them both every good health and happiness as they move onto the next adventures. They will both be missed by our entire school community.

· Please see note attached from Hideaway Playschool
