We would like to sincerely thank all the parents that drive children to matches and other extra- curricular events. Your support is greatly appreciated. We would also remind parents not to stop at shops on the way back from events as it puts an unfair financial pressure on those that are driving.
A massive thank you to all the parents, sponsors and participants at the PA Table Quiz on Thursday night. Thanks to The Fox for allowing us to use their premises and a special thank you to Alan Kealy for setting the questions and for acting as MC on the night. To date over €3,700 has been raised and we will have a final tally next week.
Camogie training will take place at lunch time tomorrow.
Reminder to children in 6th class to return forms about hoodies by tomorrow.
Well done to the boys and girls from 5th and 6th classes that took part in a football blitz in Donard last Friday.
Well done also to the boys from 3rd and 4th class that took part in an indoor hurling blitz last Thursday in Aughrim.
All children from 3rd to 6th class will have a talk on internet safety with Zeeko on Tuesday March 24th. There will be an online talk for parents on March 24th also from 6.30 to 7.30 pm. Please use the link below to register for the parents’ talk.

Please note that school is closed next Tuesday 10th for staff inservice. School is closed on Tuesday March 17th also but is open on Monday March 16th.
Please ensure your child has their uniform on each day apart from PE days and has a coat as we will be going out for break times unless rain is torrential.
Drama takes place on Wednesday and Thursday for Solas, Junior Infants, 4th, 5th and 6th classes.
All classes will take part in a ceolchoirm for Seachtain na Gaeilge and in a céilí over the next two weeks. We will have a Lá Glás on Monday, March 16th. Children can wear something green to school that day.
Reminder fees are now due for anyone doing guitar and piano lessons with music generation
The children in the school had a talk from nutrition and fitness expert Keira Donegan last Friday. Thanks to the people from Fresh Today for organising this.
Reminder: Ceremony of Light for Confirmation children will take place in St. Nicholas of Myra Church on Tuesday 24th March at 8pm.
