I hope all is well, I am reaching out to you from Blessington Rugby Football Club (BRFC), Home of Rugby in West Wicklow.
The club catchment area encompasses all of West Wicklow, reaching from Brittas to Baltinglass.
I am one of the coaches of the U10s mixed rugby team and on our team alone we have children attending 9 different schools!
The teams within the club span in age from tots through to our U14's boys and girls teams so we offer a place for everyone, rugby is an exciting opportunity for boys and girls alike.
We have a Tag Rugby offering in place for a 10 week period for children aged 8+ from June 23rd through to the end of August (flier attached as a PDF and JPG, the sign-up form is also attached), with a return to Rugby proper in September. And that tag offering is really why I am reaching out.
Our hope through the facilitation of this programme, is to keep current players engaged and provide an opportunity for players anew, opening the door to rugby in a comfortable and fun environment and in turn boosting player recruitment.
If you could share the above flier on your schools software/messaging system, we in the club would really appreciate it.
Kind regards,
Ross Hamilton
